This year sees inclusion of another on-site ONLY ZBrush sculpting challenge. The Jack-O-Lantern Challenge gives attendees a chance to jump into the digital clay experience LIVE on the grounds of the Gnomon School in Hollywood, California.
Share the spotlight with other members of the ZBrush community and your favorite artists from around the globe. Participants will have 15 minutes to create an original Jack-O-Lantern sculpture using a pre-sculpted digital clay pumpkin.
The Jack-O-Lantern Challenge will run LIVE across all three days of the ZBrush Summit. Come one, come all and show off your sculpting chops! If you are planning on attending the 2023 ZBrush Summit you can practice now by downloading the ZBrush Jack-O-Lantern files used during the challenge.

The following rules apply to this challenge: ^*

Sculpting can only take place during the times listed below LIVE and in person at the 2023 ZBrush Summit:

Friday: 12:00 pm - 6:20 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday: 11:00 am - 2:25 pm
Contestants will be limited to 15 minutes per entry.
You must start from one of two pumpkin sculpts. Download the ZBrush Project files here.
You may use any functions found inside of ZBrush to create your Jack-O-Lantern.
You may enter the contest more than once (Preference will be given to contestants who have not participated over repeat entrants.)
Sculpting machines for entering are open once every 15 mins. First come first served.
Absolutely NO EXTERNAL FILES can be installed on the machines.
Sculpting stations will not have Internet access.
The Grand Prize Winner will be chosen by prolific Pumpkin Sculptor Jon Neill.
Sculptures must be completed LIVE at sculpting stations on the grounds of the 2023 ZBrush Summit to qualify for prizes.
